Happy Mother’s Day – Divine Call Ministries (So Cal) Blog
This year (2025), Mother’s Day will be observed on Sunday, May 11th. The celebratory date changes annually and is determined according to whatever date is the second Sunday in May (Farmer’s Almanac.com). Mother’s Day is a blessed opportunity to honor those who gave us life, expressing the gratitude and honor their sacrifice deserves. Our thoughts and prayers are extended to each family.
Specifically, Dr. Donna Williams Smith of Divine Call Ministries (Southern California) lifts Mothers, Grandmothers, surrogate Mothers, and in some cases, even Dads who have stood in as Mothers to God’s Throne of Grace (Hebrews 4:16) this Mother’s Day. She seeks the Lord’s richest blessings – His inexhaustible Mercies this day for those standing in the roles mentioned above.
Benevolent Lord, let it be that wherever Mothers are in the world – no matter the circumstances… that You Graciously provide Your Supernatural Presence, and do a miraculous work in their lives (especially in regards to my own beloved Mother – Lady Catherine Howard). Wrap each in Your warm embrace.
May they be surrounded by their children and extended family members. Additionally, provide assurances that they are loved and appreciated in the Name of Jesus Christ we pray.
Withal, stand in the gap for their insufficiencies, Do Creative MIRACLES, Precious Savior, as only You can (Psalm 72:18; 77:14; 86:10).
Additionally, dear Savior, heal the hurt(s) and mend the broken relationships. Lord do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ask or even think (Mark 10:27; Ephesians 3:20-21). So that You will be Glorified in their lives for the sake of the Name of Your dear Son, In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen and Amen.
