Divine Call Ministries Honorarium & Fee Considerations

Divine Call Ministries is a 501C3 tax-exempt Non-Profit Ministry and thus adheres to regulatory guidelines consistent with religious entities.1 Rather than a price list, couples contracting for officiant services are obliged to contribute compensation to sufficiently cover all ancillary expenses incurred. In addition, a voluntary offering over and above expenses – representing the couples’ appreciation for the minister’s spiritual investments in their union, is understood to be a customary gesture.

Partial list of the officiant’s investments in your special day…

  • The officiant is available for prayer – special prayer can be submitted online as needed
  • The officiant will confirm and save the wedding date with the submission of the non-refundable $250 retainer
  • The officiant will provide assistance obtaining a marriage license
  • The officiant will gather pertinent information by administering the “Couple’s Questionnaire” and subsequent contacts
  • The officiant will provide a preliminary outline for your ceremony
  • The officiant assists with ceremony revisions and updates
  • The officiant oversees the wedding parties processional and recessional and placing (standing positions) formats
  • The officiant attends the wedding rehearsal (if necessary and suggested honorarium + $150)
  • Wedding Day (arrive 50 minutes -1 hour early to check details, perform sound check etc.)
  • The officiant performs the Wedding Day nuptials
  • The officiant obtains witness signatures on the license in preparation for mailing to County Recorder’s Office
  • The officiant mails the marriage license the first business day after the ceremony

Celebrant/Officiant Ceremony Services

Ceremony and Preliminary $250 – $750

Present for Wedding Rehearsal – + $150

Plus, all Travel and Incidental Expenses local

Airfare, Hotel, and Car Rental “at cost” – paid in advance

Local Mileage > 50 miles $.057/Mile

Nonrefundable Retainer $250.00 – payable upon finalization of the date
