We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

INDEPENDENCE DAY – July 4th Heritage Trivia

THE BALD EAGLE has been America’s National symbol since 1782. It’s easy to see why the Eagle represents STRENGTH, nobility, strong character, independence, supreme power, immortality, and precision – all desirable traits for a New Nation, striving to embed into its fabric, VALUES synonymous with success and resilience.

AMERICA, the land of the Free, HOME of the Brave.

ADDITIONALLY, Scriptures associate the EAGLE in Exodus 19:4; and Deuteronomy 32:11 with DIVINE RESCUE, (“God says I bore you on Eagles wings and brought you to Myself; HE SPREAD His broad Wings and took them”); God’s loving care towards His Covenant people Israel in bringing them out of the bondage of Egyptian servitude. e.g., God’s LOVING CARE in securing the Independence of America from the tyrannical imperialism of a British crown.

THERE WAS A TIME when we Americans STROVE to match that symbolic character and SUCCEEDED.

LORD HELP US, to reclaim our Legacy; our National Heritage. INSTILL IN US again Your Superlative Moral Character and fortitude. AND LORD TURN US…YOUR prodigal Nation, Your wayward child back home again, Your Minister prays for the sake of the Name of Your dear Son, in Jesus’ Name I ask this, Amen and Amen!!
