We have no Government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net.Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly in adequate to the government of any other.
President John Adams (2)
America’s Presidents and First Ladies Group was created for sharing historical facts and the “Faith Legacies” (what did our leaders believe about God?) of America’s highest executive servant leaders, the Presidents and their First Ladies. Political statements, disparaging comments or opinions, and non-factual claims are not allowed. Violators will be promptly removed.
